Traumatic Subclavian Arterial Ruptures (TSCAR) are rare and with a poor prognosis. The aim of this study was to describe the epidemiological data and the medical charts of the initial care of each patient suffering a TSCAR following a traffic accident. ⋯ TSCAR are rare with a high mortality. We recommend improving the early care by the recognition of the triad associating early severe shock, polytraumatism (thorax and superior limb) and radiological signs evocating scapulothoracic dissociation in a 2-WMR. These signs must lead to the operating theatre as fast as possible in association with early massive transfusions.

[State of the art. Publications of French emergency's teams since 5 years].
The development of emergency medicine in France and its valuation can take place only through acknowledged scientific publications. The aim of our study was to analyze the publications of French teams in emergency medicine since 2006. ⋯ The release of French studies in emergency medicine is increasing, with an improvement in the quality of the published studies. All these results demonstrate the progress made since five years in emergency medicine in France but also the work that remains to be done in our rising medical specialization.
