The internet has become a common source of health information; however, little is known about online health information-seeking behaviour (HISB) among patients in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). ⋯ Online HISB was common among primary care patients; however, their eHealth literacy was low, with suboptimal appraisal skills to evaluate the accuracy of online health information.

Pre-conception care is well known as part of opportunistic, proactive, preventive care for men and women throughout their reproductive years; to lower behavioural, environmental and health-related factors that could lead to poor maternal and foetal outcomes. Many studies have been conducted on the delivery of pre-conception care worldwide. However, no studies were conducted in Saudi Arabia on this topic. ⋯ The gained insight from the in-depth exploration of physicians' perspectives on pre-conception care helps direct future resources and efforts to both team-based, multi-disciplinary preventative approaches, and population education on the importance of preparing for a pregnancy.

When patients with gastroenteritis (GE) seek health care, they are generally managed in primary care. Little is known about the use of antibiotic treatment in these cases. ⋯ Antibiotic treatment is infrequently used in GE consultations in Norwegian primary care. Although there was an overall increase in use during the study period, we observed a reduction in overall use after year 2012. Young children were treated with antibiotics in GE consultations less frequent than older patients.

Ageing is accompanied by many changes that make it more difficult for nutritional needs to be met. Management of malnutrition in older adults requires collaboration among multiple clinical disciplines. ⋯ IPCP has a strong and significant correlation with the nutritional status in older adults. The IPCP implementation could significantly improve their nutritional status after the IPCP implementation compared to usual care.

The pandemic state caused by SARS CoV-2 came to overburden all levels of healthcare, including Primary Care. In Portugal, most patients were followed in ambulatory, monitored by phone calls or face-to-face visits by their General Practitioner. ⋯ Male gender, age and the presence of comorbidities are the main determinants for hospitalization and death. These COVID-19 patients should receive a higher attention when they come to primary care for assistance.
