Review Case Reports[Sequential double lung transplant in Kartagener's syndrome].
Very few cases of lung transplantation have been described for patients with Kartagener's syndrome. We report the first case to be published in Spain. ⋯ Due to the unusual distribution of the organs in this syndrome, the bronchial stumps of donor and recipient had to be distributed differently. With the initial technical difficulties overcome, the patient now leads a normal life two years after transplantation.

Review Case Reports[Pulmonary metastases of malignant melanoma. A rare endobronchial presentation].
Malignant melanoma has a tendency to metastasize to the lung in the course of tumor growth. Many such cases have been described in the literature, although cases of endobronchial metastasis of this type of tumor revealed during fiberoptic bronchoscopy are difficult to find. ⋯ After tissue inspection, the initial suspicion of metastasis of malignant melanoma was confirmed. We review the prevalence, radiologic presentation, prognosis and treatment options for this type of metastasis.
