Association of Physical Activity and Sedentary Behavior With the Risk of Colorectal Cancer.
Although recent evidence supports that prolonged sedentary behavior and reduced physical activity are associated with colorectal cancer risk, there are few studies analyzing the colorectal cancer risk according to different types of physical activity and combined effects of sedentary behavior and physical activity on colorectal cancer. This study aimed to investigate the association of sedentary behavior and physical activity with colorectal cancer. ⋯ This study found that sedentary behavior was significantly associated with the increased risk of colorectal cancer. Moreover, sedentary behavior without physical activity increased the risk of colorectal cancer. Reducing sedentary behavior and recommending any type of physical activity may reduce the risk of colorectal cancer.

Case ReportsA Case Report of Herpes Zoster Ophthalmicus and Meningitis After COVID-19 Vaccination.
There are several reports that herpes zoster characterized by reactivation of varicella zoster virus (VZV) following coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines can occur. Herein, we report VZV meningitis, herpes zoster ophthalmicus (HZO), and late neurotrophic keratitis after receiving a second dose of messenger RNA (mRNA) COVID-19 vaccine. A 74-year-old man developed a vesicular skin rash on the forehead, scalp, nose, and left upper eyelid with a severe headache. ⋯ One month later, he developed a central epithelial defect with a rolled margin, typical of a neurotrophic ulcer. Treatment with a therapeutic contact lens and a combination of topical recombinant human epithelial growth factor and ofloxacin ointment was initiated. At six months after vaccination, the slit-lamp examination findings were stable with a mild corneal superficial stromal haze.

Latent Tuberculosis Cascade of Care Among Healthcare Workers: A Nationwide Cohort Analysis in Korea Between 2017 and 2018.
In 2017, Korea implemented nationwide latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) project targeting healthcare workers (HCWs). We aimed to assess its performance using the cascade of care model. ⋯ Among employees of medical institutions with LTBI, only one third completed treatment. Age, occupation, treatment center, and initial regimen were significantly related to LTBI treatment performance indicators. Rifampicin-based short treatment regimens were effective under standard of care.

Case ReportsMicroscopic Polyangiitis Following mRNA COVID-19 Vaccination: A Case Report.
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is one of the most widespread viral infections in human history. As a breakthrough against infection, vaccines have been developed to achieve herd immunity. Here, we report the first case of microscopic polyangiitis (MPA) following BNT162b2 vaccination in Korea. ⋯ He was discharged after the induction therapy and admitted to the outpatient clinic 34 days after induction therapy. During outpatient examination, his renal function had improved with serum creatinine 1.51 mg/dL. We suggest that MPA needs to be considered if patients have acute kidney injury, proteinuria, and hematuria after vaccination.

Owing to inflammation and edema of the upper airways, children present with barky cough and stridor, and some may experience respiratory distress. ⋯ With the immediate administration of corticosteroids and epinephrine via nebulizer, the symptoms improved rapidly. During the current omicron surge, careful monitoring of the symptoms of croup in young children is needed for the diagnosis of COVID-19 and its timely management.
