mHealth to Support Outdoor Gym Resistance Training: The ecofit Effectiveness RCT.
In Australia, 45% of adults meet the aerobic recommendations, and only 9%-30% meet the resistance training guidelines. Given the lack of at-scale community-based interventions promoting resistance training, the aim of this study was to assess the impact of an innovative mHealth intervention on upper- and lower-body muscular fitness, cardiorespiratory fitness, physical activity, and social-cognitive mediators among a sample of community-dwelling adults. ⋯ This study has shown that a mHealth intervention promoting resistance training using the built environment can improve muscular fitness, physical activity behavior, and related cognitions in a community sample of adults.

Air Quality Index and Childhood Asthma: A Pilot Randomized Clinical Trial Intervention.
To reduce air pollution exposure, the U.S. asthma guidelines recommend that children check the Air Quality Index before outdoor activity. Whether adding the Air Quality Index and recommendations to asthma action plans reduces exacerbations and improves control and quality of life in children with asthma is unknown. ⋯ Addition of the Air Quality Index to asthma action plans led to improved asthma control by Asthma Control Test scores but may decrease outdoor activity.

Effects of Sugary Beverage Text and Pictorial Warnings: A Randomized Trial.
Multiple U.S. localities have introduced legislation requiring sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) warnings. This study effects of different warning designs on beverage selections and perceptions. ⋯ SSB warning policies may be most effective if they mandate images of beverages' added sugar content accompanied by warning text.

A Contactless App-Based Intervention to Improve Health Behaviors in Airline Pilots: A Randomized Trial.
There is a need for enhanced preventive health care among airline pilots to mitigate the prevalence of cardiometabolic health risk factors. ⋯ Study findings show that an app-based health behavior intervention can elicit positive cardiometabolic health changes among airline pilots over 16 weeks, associated with trivial to large effect sizes.

Designing Effective Alcohol Warnings: Consumer Reactions to Icons and Health Topics.
New warning labels for alcohol could reduce alcohol-related health harms. This study examined consumer responses to alcohol warnings with different designs. ⋯ New alcohol warnings could discourage alcohol consumption, especially if warnings include icons.
