The application of the ultrasound elastography and Thyroid Imaging Reporting and Data System (TI-RADS) classification further expands the scope of ultrasound differential diagnosis between benign and malignant thyroid nodules. ⋯ The SWE technique can be used to further determine the benign and malignant nature of TI-RADS 4 lesions, providing further reference for the choice of clinical treatment. The TI-RADS classification system corrected by SWE is more significant in the diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules.

Intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) is a functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequence. ⋯ Perfusion parameters derived from IVIM based on tumor edge ROI may offer additional value in differentiation in cervical cancer, and the IVIM perfusion parameters showed moderate positive correlations with quantitative perfusion parameters from DCE-MRI, while f and fD* showed promising significance.

Usefulness of ultrasound (US)-guided mass targeting and computed tomography (CT)-guided ice-ball monitoring in percutaneous cryoablation (PCA) for renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is still uncertain. ⋯ PCA using US-guided targeting and CT-guided ice-ball monitoring may allow acceptable local tumor control for RCC, as a radiation-reducing strategy.
