Observational StudyReference Levels for Central Venous Pressure and Pulmonary Artery Occlusion Pressure Monitoring in the Lateral Position.
To investigate reference levels for central venous pressure or pulmonary artery occlusion pressure monitoring in a lateral position. ⋯ When monitoring the central venous pressure and pulmonary artery occlusion pressure with patients in the lateral position, changes in the blood level of both atria should be considered when releveling the reference transducer.

Predicting the Necessity for Extracorporeal Circulation During Lung Transplantation: A Feasibility Study.
The factors leading to the implementation of unplanned extracorporeal circulation during lung transplantation are poorly defined. Consequently, the authors aimed to identify patients at risk for unplanned extracorporeal circulation during lung transplantation. ⋯ The authors showed that patients at risk for unplanned extracorporeal circulation during lung transplantation could be identified by their novel 3-point score.
