[Malnutrition and obesity in self-sufficient elderly and health determinants related to both nutritional disorders].
Evaluate the nutritional status in older adults in the community, to determine malnutrition, obesity and their risks and to identify determinants related to both clinical situations. ⋯ This results stand out that the study population has a poor nutritional status, detecting a risk of malnutrition, obesity and overweight. The identified predictors related to lifestyle habits, presence of diseases, psychosocial problems, metabolic alterations, etc. They can guide the selection of those people who would benefit from screening to detect and approach the risk of malnutrition early.

[Prevalence of physical inactivity and risk of sarcopenia in primary care. Cross-sectional study].
Assess the prevalence of physical inactivity and risk of sarcopenia in primary care patients and their companions. ⋯ The prevalence of physical inactivity and risk of sarcopenia (in individuals over 50 years old) in the studied population is high. Women have greater physical inactivity and a greater risk of sarcopenia than men.

[Pharmacological intervention in the medication review of institutionalised elderly patients under polypharmacy].
To describe the Drug-Related Problems (DRP) and their resolution after pharmacological review in institutionalised elderly patients under polypharmacy. ⋯ It is found that the intervention of multidisciplinary team in which the pharmacist performs a revision of the medication decreased the number of prescribed medications. Therefore, it reduces polymedication and its associated risks.

[Use of clinical ultrasound in primary care: Multicenter prospective study].
The objective was to describe the characteristics of the use of clinical ultrasound in two health centers (SC) of Health Area VII of the Region of Murcia (CS Murcia-Sur and CS Floridablanca). ⋯ The use of ultrasound in PC allows to show the high prevalence of pathological findings in the examination of patients. In a technique that helps the clinician in his diagnostic-therapeutic process. The integration of clinical ultrasound in the PC consultation can save complementary studies and referrals to a second level of care. Its implementation in PC requires proper training of professionals.

To evaluate a coding guide for social determinants of health in primary care consultations as an effective tool in the professional's daily workflow. ⋯ The social determinants of health coding guide is effective, appropriate and can be implemented in the workflow of primary health care professionals for good recording of the social determinants of health.
