[Metric properties of WOMAC questionnaires-original and reduced versions-to measure symptoms and Physical Functional Disability].
To determine the metric properties of the WOMAC questionnaire filled in over the telephone; and to obtain a reduced version of this questionnaire. ⋯ The original WOMAC questionnaire showed adequate metric properties to be used over the telephone on people suffering from hip and knee osteoarthritis. Furthermore, a reduced version of WOMAC with 11 items had better metric properties than the full version.

To evaluate the efficacy of an intervention by means of an educational magazine on treatment compliance in uncontrolled arterial hypertension (AHT). ⋯ Therapeutic non-compliance was very high. The educational magazine is an effective strategy to improve the compliance and degree of control of the AHT.

To find out the structure and functioning of the family of the adolescent and its changes in the last decade. ⋯ The perception of family function in adolescents has changed and now does not depend on sex, age and structure. Family care during adolescence should focus on promoting positive family dynamics, regardless of family structure.

To identify factors related to continuing or resolving the problem. ⋯ Enduring and coming out are reported as two qualitatively different states, which involve many cultural and personal factors. There is a gap between these two states with a process that varies depending on the involvement of the women in decision-making.

[Validation of the MALT-S questionnaire for the diagnosis of alcoholism among the adult population].
To validate the subjective part of the MALT questionnaire (MALT-S) for the detection of alcoholism among the adult population. ⋯ The MALT-S questionnaire is as valid and reliable as the complete MALT; therefore, it can be used on its own for the diagnosis of alcoholism.
