[Qualitative research into women who are victims of male violence].
To analyse, from the point of view of the women, the experience of women who are victims of male violence and attended at primary care centres. ⋯ Complexity of the phenomenon under study. Projection of researcher's perspective. Huge amount of data. Strategies are proposed for increasing credibility, conformity and transferability. PRACTICAL USE: To improve understanding of the situation of women who are victims of domestic violence, from a non-directive perspective that enables the quality of interventions to be improved.

[How to increase the involvement of casualty patients in their treatments: efficacy of some informative posters].
To determine whether posters/leaflets increase doctors' information on the allergies and on the medication their patients are taking and patients' understanding of their treatment. ⋯ The dissemination of posters/leaflets was effective in increasing patients' knowledge of their medication's dosage and doctors' understanding of questions affecting prescription.

Multicenter Study
[TB-Red (TB-Network) Project: pilot study and evaluation of an information transfer].
The main objective of this project is to set up and assess a pilot model to help increase the cure rate in the mobile immigrant population with Tuberculosis. A model of information transfer is proposed. This is based on successful experiences in other countries. ⋯ To set up the project, 4 items are needed: a) registration form; b) extensible identification card; c) telephone, and d) data base. The coordination of the project and collection of information will be centralised at the National Centre of Tropical Medicine, which is also the coordinator of the REUMT network. INFORMATION ANALYSIS: A statistical analysis of the data base will be run, first descriptive and then bivariate. To assess the intervention, indicators marking the process and results will be collected.

[Prevalence of domestic violence among women consulting their family doctors].

To describe the types of cancer identified in primary health care, their clinical presentation, management until diagnosis and delay in diagnosis. ⋯ Family doctors are involved in the diagnosis of most cancers. In colorectal, lung and prostate cancers, their contribution could improve prognosis. More studies are needed to confirm these findings.
