A Case of Metastasis from Renal Cell Carcinoma to Ectopic Pancreas Diagnosed after Resection.
We herein report a 68-year-old man who underwent nephrectomy for right renal cell carcinoma 10 years prior. He remained under regular medical observation, and abdominal computed tomography showed tumors in the head and tail of the pancreas. ⋯ The pathologic diagnosis proved that the pancreatic tumors were metastases from renal cell carcinoma and clarified that an ectopic pancreas in the duodenum had metastases as well. To our knowledge, this is the first case of metastasis to an ectopic pancreas.

We treated a female patient known to have a double-chambered right ventricle (DCRV) who presented with symptoms of an acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Emergent coronary artery catheterization revealed acute right coronary artery (RCA) occlusion and proximal left anterior descending (LAD) stenosis. ⋯ Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging revealed no other congenital cardiac abnormalities. She underwent surgical repair of the RV stenosis and coronary artery bypass surgery for LAD stenosis.

Crescentic Glomerulonephritis with Fibrinoid Vasculitis after Administration of Influenza Vaccine: A Case Report.
A 66-year-old man was admitted to our hospital because of a low-grade fever and arthralgia. The symptoms started on the third day after influenza vaccine administration and persisted for two months. Serum creatinine was 1.0 mg/dL; C-reactive protein, 16.1 mg/dL; and myeloperoxidase antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (MPO-ANCA), 4,170 IU/mL. ⋯ Microscopic polyangiitis was diagnosed. After five months of steroid pulse therapy and rituximab administration, the patient entered remission. There have been very few reports of this condition after influenza vaccine administration.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) hemorrhaging/rupture is a rare adverse effect of lenvatinib, and only limited pathological examinations have been reported. This report presents the case of a 69-year-old man who suffered from cardiac arrest and died 7 days after starting lenvatinib treatment for HCC, with an autopsy subsequently performed. ⋯ This pathological feature is unusual in normal HCC. Thus, it is believed to have been the effect of lenvatinib.
