Goldenhar syndrome consists of a combination of unilateral auricular appendages, auricular fistulas, and ocular epibulbar dermoids combined with a unilateral underdevelopment of the craniofacial structures and vertebral abnormalities. We aimed to elicit the underlying spine pathology in a group of patients via tomographic assessment. ⋯ The importance of this paper is threefold; first, little information is available in the literature regarding the magnitude and the diversity of spine pathology in patients with Goldenhar syndrome. Second, is to alert spine specialists that conventional radiographic assessment of the craniocervical area is an insufficient modality to assess children with syndromic associations. Third, a rotation and flexion deformity of the neck associated with facial asymmetry and/or plagiocephaly should be considered as a syndromic entity rather than a simple physiological deformation.

Age-related cutoffs for cervical movement behaviour to distinguish chronic idiopathic neck pain patients from unimpaired subjects.
The present study aims to develop age-dependent cutoff values in a quasi-experimental, cross-sectional diagnostic test study. ⋯ By including such classifications, the present findings expand actual research stating an age-related decrease in kinematic behaviour only using categorising span widths across decades. Future study is warranted to reveal our results' potential applicability for intervention onset decision making for idiopathic neck pain patients.

Observational Study
The effect of daily walking steps on preventing neck and low back pain in sedentary workers: a 1-year prospective cohort study.
This study aimed to investigate the causal relationship between daily walking steps and the 1-year incidence of neck and low back pain in workers with sedentary jobs. ⋯ Increasing daily walking steps is a protective factor for onset of neck pain in those with sedentary jobs. Interventions to reduce neck pain should include attempts to increase daily walking steps.

Pain referred from the sacroiliac joint (SIJ) may originate in the joint's posterior ligamentous region. The site of referred pain may depend on which SIJ section is affected. This study aimed to determine the exact origin of pain referred from four SIJ sections. ⋯ Dysfunctional upper sections of the SIJ are associated with pain in the upper buttock and lower sections with pain in the lower buttock. Groin pain might be referred from the upper SIJ sections.
