ReviewMR Imaging of the Midfoot Including Chopart and Lisfranc Joint Complexes.
Following a brief description of the normal anatomy and biomechanics of the midfoot, this article focuses on MR imaging features of common osseous, tendon, and ligament abnormalities that affect the midfoot. Discussion of the anatomy and pathology affecting the Chopart and Lisfranc joint complexes, both of which play important roles in linking the midfoot to the hindfoot and the forefoot respectively, is also included.

ReviewPediatric Cerebellar Tumors: Emerging Imaging Techniques and Advances in Understanding of Genetic Features.
Cerebellar tumors are the most common group of solid tumors in children. MR imaging provides an important role in characterization of these lesions, surgical planning, and postsurgical surveillance. ⋯ Intraoperative MR imaging has emerged as an important tool in the surgical management of pediatric brain tumors. Effective understanding of the imaging features of pediatric cerebellar tumors can benefit communication with neurosurgeons and neuro-oncologists and can improve patient management.

ReviewResponse Assessment in Neuro-Oncology Criteria and Clinical Endpoints.
The Response Assessment in Neuro-Oncology (RANO) Working Group is an international multidisciplinary group whose goal is to improve response criteria and define endpoints for neuro-oncology trials. The RANO criteria for high-grade gliomas attempt to address the issues of pseudoprogression, pseudoresponse, and nonenhancing tumor progression. ⋯ The RANO group has also developed criteria for neurologic response and evaluation of patients receiving immunologic therapies. RANO criteria have been developed for brain metastases and are in progress for meningiomas, leptomeningeal disease, spinal tumors, and pediatric tumors.

Operative treatments of the spine are becoming increasingly more common for the availability of a wide range of surgical and minimally invasive procedures. MR imaging allows for excellent evaluation of both normal and abnormal findings in the postoperative spine. This article provides the basic tools to evaluate complications after different operative procedures and offers an overview on the main topics a radiologist may encounter during his or her professional carrier.

Neuroimaging plays a critical role in the management of patients with acute stroke syndrome, with diagnostic, therapeutic, and prognostic implications. A multiparametric magnetic resonance (MR) imaging protocol in the emergency setting can address both primary goals of neuroimaging (ie, detection of infarction and exclusion of hemorrhage) and secondary goals of neuroimaging (ie, identifying the site of arterial occlusion, tissue characterization for defining infarct core and penumbra, and determining stroke cause/mechanism). MR imaging provides accurate diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke (AIS) and can differentiate AIS from other potential differential diagnoses.
