Prevalence of Kawasaki Disease in a Tertiary Care Hospital: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Kawasaki disease is an acute vasculitis of unknown etiology. The epidemiological data available for Nepal remains insufficient. In Nepal, Kawasaki disease has only been reported in cases of brief reports, leaving the true disease burden unknown. Many cases go undiagnosed and untreated due to a lack of knowledge regarding this entity. The objective of this study was to find the prevalence of Kawasaki disease in a tertiary care hospital. ⋯ Prevalence of Kawasaki disease was found to be lesser compared to other studies done in other countries. Knowledge of Kawasaki disease among Nepalese pediatricians should be enhanced to guarantee the appropriate diagnosis and treatment of this disease.

Awareness regarding Menstrual Hygiene among Girl Students of a School in Chitwan.
Adolescent girls often lack knowledge regarding reproductive health including menstruation which can be due to socio-cultural barriers in which they grow up. It is important to educate adolescents about issues related to menstruation so that they can safeguard themselves and hold implications for professionals involved in improvement of reproductive health. The main objective of the study was to find out awareness regarding menstrual hygiene among girl students of a school in Chitwan. ⋯ Awareness regarding menstrual hygiene was present among the girl students, but practice for proper menustral hygiene was low compared to studies done in similar settings.

Prevalence of Perforated Graft in Underlay and Pop-in Technique Myringoplasty.
The radial artery is commonly originated from the brachial artery in the cubital fossa at the level of the neck of the radius. It is the artery of choice for coronary artery angiography, percutaneous coronary artery intervention, cannulation, and others. Radial artery anomalies like high origin, tortuosity, and accessory branches are associated with the failure of such procedures. The main objective of this study is to study the variation in origin and course of the radial artery in cadavers. ⋯ This study concludes that most of the radial artery originates in the cubital fossa from the brachial artery with few variations.

Study of Acid-Base Disorders and Biochemical Findings of Patients in a Tertiary Care Hospital: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Acid base disorder is a condition characterized by alteration in blood pH by the imbalance between the components of blood leading to a life threatening situation. The main aim of this study was to find the prevalence of acid-base disorders and biochemical findings of such disorders in patients in a tertairy care hospital. ⋯ Acid base disorder was found to be more common in very ill patients in emergency and intensive care units. Mixed acid base disorder was the most common with male and elderly patients in predominance.

Case ReportsA Female with Right-Sided Thoracic Kidney with Bochdalek Hernia: A Case Report.
The thoracic kidney is the rarest form of an ectopic kidney that usually present on the left thorax and twice more common in males. No case has been reported from Nepal and very few cases are reported worldwide. ⋯ We have included clinico-radiological and surgical findings of the case with a review of the literature. Keywords: Bochdalek hernia; ectopic kidney; thoracic kidney.
