Prevalence of Staphylococcus aureus Isolated from Clinical Samples in a Tertiary Care Hospital: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Staphylococcus aureus is one of the commonest cause of nosocomial infections. Resistant Staphylococcus aureus strain has become a matter of concern. This study was done to find out the prevalence of Staphylococcus aureus from different clinical samples. ⋯ This study provides valuable information regarding the high prevalence of Staphylococcus aureus from pus and wound infections. The alarming number of Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus is worrisome finding. Antibiotics like Vancomycin and Linezolid which has not developed resistance should be cautiously used only in Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus cases.

Prevalence of Depression among Medical Students of a Tertiary Care Teaching Hospital.
Depression is one of the major problems encountered by medical students. This may cause a negative effect on cognitive functioning and learning of students resulting in poor health care and service delivery in future. The presence of this major problem is necessary to be evaluated. Enough recent data regarding its prevalence is not available in our country. Thus, the main aim of this study is to find the prevalence of depression among medical students of a tertiary care teaching hospital. ⋯ Prevalence of depression among medical students is relatively significant as found in similar studies done in other centres. Thus appropriate programs and strategies should be implemented to avoid depression from causing a negative effect on cognitive functioning and learning of students. Favourable environment where students are able to talk about their mental health issues is a must.

Case ReportsRehabilitation of Severely Attrited Teeth with Hobo Twin Stage Technique: A Case Report.
Restoration of excessively worn dentition is a challenging treatment procedures. It requires efficient diagnosis and treatment plan. ⋯ To rehabilitate this case Hobo's twin stage technique had been adopted as it is based on scientific data and mathematical analysis for both disocclusion and anterior guidance thus reducing chair side time. Clinical Profile of Neonates with Respiratory Distress in a Tertiary Care Hospital.
Respiratory distress in newborns is a very common reason for admission in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit which may be transient or pathological; morbidity is high if not prompted for early diagnosis and treatment. The present study is undertaken to find out the clinical profile of neonates with respiratory distress in infants in a tertiary care hospital in western Nepal. ⋯ Perinatal asphyxia accounted for the commonest cause of respiratory distress. To lessen the morbidity and mortality of the neonates with respiratory distress it is advocated that we practice proper and timely neonatal resuscitation, recognize the risk factors as early as possible so that perinatal asphyxia can be minimized.
