Multicenter StudyVerbal Abuse among Nurses in Tertiary Care Hospitals.
Verbal abuse against nurses who are major working force can affect the work performance and productivity in hospital. Verbal abuse is epidemic in tertiary care hospitals though it is most preventable with healthcare professions. The study aims to identify the prevalence of verbal abuse among nurses in a Tertiary Care Hospital. ⋯ Verbal abuse is frequently prevalent in nurses and mostly from patient's visitors. Hence, nurses should maintain their respect and authority otherwise it will lead to decrease in their performance that shows direct impact on patient care and consequently the effectiveness of the health care system.

Case ReportsHuman Albumin and N-Acetylcysteine for Treatment of Fat Embolism: A Case Report.
Fat embolism is a life-threatening condition that mostly occurs after long bones and pelvis fractures and treatment is controversial with many available drugs. We hereby present a case of 53 years male who developed shortness of breath, tachycardia, fever, anemia, distended jugular vein, thrombocytopenia, hypoalbuminemia and was diagnosed to have fat embolism after fracture of femur, tibia, fibula and pubic rami following road traffic accident. ⋯ From this we want to emphasize role of human albumin and N-acetylcysteine in treatment of fat. Case ReportsDelayed Presentation of Renal Arterio-Venous Fistula and Pseudoaneurysm in Native Left Kidney in Allograft Recipient: A Case Report.
Iatrogenic complications due to renal biopsy majorly include formation of an arterio-venous fistula, pseudoaneurysm or arterio-ureteral fistula. These complications are observed within a span of few days post biopsy and are rare after few years. ⋯ Superselective embolization was achieved using coils and high concentration glue and transient placement of a venous occlusion balloon with complete technical and clinical success. Facial index is useful for anatomists, forensic scientists and plastic surgeons during treatment of congenital and traumatic deformities, identification of individuals in medico-legal cases and identifying craniofacial deformities and they help us in distinguishing one person from another. Very few researchers from Nepal have worked on these facial features with respect to population and environment. The study aims to find the prevalence of leptoprosopic type of face among dental students of Kantipur Dental College, Kathmandu, Nepal. ⋯ This study concludes that the leptoprosopic face was most common followed by hyperleptoprosopic, mesoprosopic, europrosopic and hypereuroprosopic type of face.

Prevalence of Hypertension in Adult Population of A Village of Nepal.
Hypertension is a cardiovascular disorder rapidly emerging as a major health problem in developing countries. Uncontrolled or poorly managed hypertension leads to several complications such as coronary heart disease, peripheral vascular disease and kidney disease. These complications account for approx 9.4 million deaths worldwide every year. Consequently, it is an urgent need for authorities to act upon this issue. This study was done to determine the prevalence of Hypertension in Deurali village of Nuwakot. ⋯ The prevalence of hypertension was found to be lower than the previous study done in similar settings.
