Knowledge of Impacted Teeth among the Undergraduate Dental Students of a Medical College: A Descriptive Cross-Sectional Study.
Third molar impaction is a common patient complaint in dentistry. Common symptoms are localized pain, swelling, bleeding, and difficulty in mouth opening. Since dental students deal with patients early in their education, for better skill, they should have knowledge of various teeth impactions. Hence, the objective was to find out the knowledge of impacted teeth among undergraduate dental students of a medical college. ⋯ Dental students should be provided with appropriate 'impacted teeth' education supported by practical experience. More detailed information regarding impacted teeth should be included in the curriculum for better understanding.

Cystic Echinococcosis or Hydatid disease is caused by the infection with the larval stage of long tapeworm, Echinococcus granulosus. This condition often remains asymptomatic for years before the cyst grows large enough to cause symptoms in affected organs. The most common organs involved are liver and lungs although the heart, brain, bone, central nervous system, and kidney may also be involved. ⋯ The cyst was approximately 7.8×6.6×8cm with internal multiple septations at the lower pole cortex of the left kidney. Laparoscopic pericystectomy was performed and with no postoperative complications, she was discharged on albendazole and other supportive medication. With timely management using combination therapy, this condition is curable and the patient can live a healthy life with normal kidney function.

Persistent Symptoms in Non-critical COVID-19 Patients at Two Months Follow-Up in a District Hospital: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
The corona virus disease 2019 is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 belonging to corona viruses which are enveloped positive stranded RNA viruses. Non-critical coronavirus disease 2019 patients often lack follow up visits which has led to incomplete understanding of disease process. The aim of this study was to find out the prevalence of persistent symptoms in such patients during two months follow-up to a district hospital. ⋯ The prevalence of persistent symptoms at two months follow up in our study was lower than findings from other international studies.

Case ReportsTofacitinib as an Adjunct Immunomodulator for Treatment of a Patient with Severe COVID-19: A Case Report.
Severe coronavirus disease 2019 can be associated with progressive respiratory failure. In addition to respiratory support and other supportive care, use of corticosteroids has shown to improve outcome. ⋯ Adjunct immunomodulators have been studied in addition to steroids in these patients. Here we present a successful use of tofacitinib, a Janus Kinase inhibitor, in conjunction with dexamethasone for a patient with rapid worsening of respiratory status and with high level of serum inflammatory biomarkers.

Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome is a rare disease characterized by painful ophthalmoplegia affecting third, fourth, and/or sixth cranial nerve caused by non-specific inflammation in the cavernous sinus or superior orbital fissure of unknown etiology. We presented a 67-year-old female with Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome. She had a right-sided headache and periorbital pain with double vision. ⋯ Magnetic resonance imaging of head and orbit showed altered signal intensity changes in the optic nerve and lateral rectus muscle. After steroid therapy, pain and ptosis were significantly improved in 72 hours. Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome is a diagnosis of exclusion, with clinical presentation, normal investigations, magnetic resonance imaging findings, and response to steroid therapy crucial in making the diagnosis.
