Evans syndrome is defined as the concomitant or sequential association of warm autoimmune hemolytic anaemia with immune thrombocytopenia, and less frequently autoimmune neutropenia. It is associated with non-cross-reacting auto-antibodies directed against antigens specific to red blood cells, platelets or neutrophils. Clinical symptoms could be related to hemolysis and thrombocytopenia. ⋯ The first-line treatment of Evans syndrome is intravenous corticosteroids or intravenous immunoglobulins and second-line treatment with rituximab or splenectomy for those who are refractory to steroids. Here is a case of a fifty-year-old- female who presented with bleeding from the mouth and gums, bluish patches over the shin and trunk along with generalised weakness and severe backache. We are interested in reporting this case because the presentation of patients with such scenarios on our part will compel the treating physician to overlook Evans syndrome and get it underdiagnosed.

Case ReportsSynovial Chondromatosis of Hip Joint in a Patient with Ankylosing Spondylitis: A Case Report.
Synovial chondromatosis in association with ankylosing spondylitis is extremely rare and has been reported only once before and this case report is presenting a similar case. The knee is the preferential site of involvement with involvement of the hip being reported sparsely. ⋯ There should be a high index of suspicion to diagnose synovial chondromatosis in association with inflammatory arthritides. We also believe that surgical management is an effective method of treatment of an established synovial chondromatosis of the hip joint.

Case ReportsRecurrent Metastatic Choriocarcinoma Responsive to Etoposide and Cisplatin with Etoposide, Methotrexate, and Dactinomycin: A Case Report.
Choriocarcinoma is a malignant trophoblastic tumour usually of placental origin. It is characterized by early metastasis to the brain and lungs. ⋯ Therefore, she was managed as a case of recurrent choriocarcinoma with brain metastasis with chemotherapy (etoposide and cisplatin with etoposide, methotrexate, and dactinomycin) and was responsive. Her symptoms resolved and β-human chorionic gonadotropin dropped to normal value (<2.39 mIU/ml) which has shown that timely diagnosis and management can be vital for the successful treatment of brain metastasis.
