Acne among Patients Visiting Outpatient Department of Dermatology Centres.
Acne vulgaris is a common chronic inflammatory skin disease affecting the pilosebaceous unit. The clinical manifestations of acne include the development of comedones, papules, and pustules. Although generally considered benign, acne can have psychological impacts and cause disfiguring scars. The aim of this study was to find out the prevalence of acne among patients visiting outpatient department of dermatology centres. ⋯ acne; scars; prevalence.

Obstetric Cholestasis among Pregnant Women Visiting a Tertiary Care Centre.
Obstetric cholestasis is one of the most frequent hepatic disorders specific to pregnancy. It occurs commonly during the latter half of pregnancy. The data regarding this issue is rare in our settings. Sexual Intercourse during Pregnancy among Postpartum Women Admitted to the Department of Obstetrics in a Tertiary Care Centre.
Pregnancy is a time when women's bodies and minds go through a lot of changes. Sexuality is an important part of a woman's health and well-being, and it often changes during pregnancy. Most women admit that their libido changes in some way during pregnancy. However, the sexuality of a pregnant woman is very individual and influenced by a variety of different factors. This is a very important topic that is often taboo, especially in a male-dominated society, and it needs to be explored more. The aim of this study was to find out the prevalence of sexual intercourse among postpartum women admitted to the Department of Obstetrics in a tertiary care centre. ⋯ pregnancy; sexual behaviour; sexual intercourse; sexuality.

Hearing impairment is a significant challenge faced by medical students and physicians, impacting their communication abilities and stethoscope use. This condition, though prevalent, remains under-addressed in medical education, with many institutions lacking explicit support systems and some even imposing exclusionary standards. This personal narrative chronicles the journey of a medical student who experienced a gradual and severe bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. This article also highlights the pivotal role of cochlear implants in significantly enhancing the author's academic and social life. Medical educators are encouraged to understand the challenges faced by hearing-impaired students and adapt their teaching methods to support them effectively. ⋯ communication; hearing loss; medical students; patients; speech.

Dry Eyes among Visual Display Terminal Users Visiting the Outpatient Department of Ophthalmology of a Tertiary Care Centre.
Visual display terminal usage has increased substantially in recent years across all age groups and is considered one of the major risk factors for dry eye disease. Early assesment of dry eyes and prevention is important.
