En Bloc Resection of Pulmonary Sulcus Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Invading the Spine: A Systematic Literature Review and Pooled Data Analysis.
To conduct a systematic literature review and pooled data analysis focusing on outcome after en bloc resection of pulmonary sulcus non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) invading the spine. ⋯ Multimodality therapy including en bloc resection for pulmonary sulcus NSCLC invading the spine provides excellent long-term survival in selected patients. This result establishes a benchmark against which the effects of new treatments can be compared in the future.

Charge Awareness Affects Treatment Choice: Prospective Randomized Trial in Pediatric Appendectomy.
To determine whether charge awareness affects patient decisions. ⋯ Patients and parents tended to choose the less expensive but equally effective technique when given the opportunity. A discussion of treatment options, which includes charge information, may represent an unrealized opportunity to affect change in health care spending.
