Nationwide use and outcome of Minimally Invasive Distal Pancreatectomy in IDEAL Stage IV following a Training Program and Randomized Trial.
To assess the nationwide long-term uptake and outcomes of minimally invasive distal pancreatectomy (MIDP) after a nationwide training program and randomized trial. ⋯ A sustained nationwide implementation of MIDP after a successful training program and randomized trial was obtained with satisfactory outcomes. Future studies should assess the considerable variation in the use of MIDP between centers and, especially, robotic MIDP.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the association between neighborhood disadvantage and Oncotype DX score, a surrogate for tumor biology, among a national cohort. ⋯ This study takes a translational epidemiologic approach to identify that women living in the most disadvantaged neighborhoods have more aggressive tumor biology, as determined by the Oncotype DX score.

Ondansetron for Low Anterior Resection Syndrome (LARS): A Double Blind, Placebo Controlled, Cross-Over, Randomized Study.
The aim of the study was to examine the efficacity and safety of ondansetron, a serotonin receptor antagonist, to treat patients with low anterior resection syndrome (LARS). ⋯ Ondansetron is a safe and simple treatment that appears to improve both symptoms and QoL in LARS patients.
