Multicenter Study
Renoportal Anastomosis during Liver Transplantation in Patients with Portal Vein Thrombosis: First Long-Term Results from a Multicenter Study.
To evaluate the short- and long-term outcomes of RPA in a large multicentric series. ⋯ Despite a high rate of PHT-related complications, excellent long-term patient and graft survival could be achieved. RPA could be considered successful in the vast majority of patients. The expanded use of RPA is warranted.

To examine associations of objectively-measured free-living physical activity (PA) with changes in depressive symptoms and mental and physical health-related quality of life (HRQoL) over 7 years after Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery (RYGB). ⋯ Among adults who underwent RYGB, multiple objective PA measures were associated with decreases in depressive symptoms and improvements in mental and physical HRQoL throughout 7 years, independent of weight loss, indicating PA is a modifiable behavior to augment outcomes.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study
Long-Term Follow-up of a Randomized Clinical Trial Comparing Endovascular Revascularization Plus Supervised Exercise with Supervised Exercise only for Intermittent Claudication.
The goal of this study was to assess the long-term effectiveness of combination therapy for intermittent claudication, compared with supervised exercise only. ⋯ Long-term follow up after combination therapy versus supervised exercise only, demonstrated no significant difference in walking distance or quality of life between the treatment groups. Combination therapy resulted in a lower number of revascularization procedures during follow-up but a higher total number of revascularizations including the randomized treatment.
