Case ReportsGlyphosate-induced Delayed Pyloric Obstruction, Ulcer and Scar Changes.
Glyphosate is a widely used herbicide. Acute glyphosate poisoning is not uncommon, mostly caused by a large amount of glyphosate entering the human body in a short time, and the common reason is taking it accidently. The manifestations of acute stage are mainly gastrointestinal reactions. ⋯ In addition, active gastric ulcer was also observed. Therefore, the choice of gastric lavage method, avoidance of neutralising acid-base reactions, and the long-term use of acid suppression and mucosal protection therapy may have important therapeutic implications for the repair of gastric mucosa in such cases. Key Words: Glyphosate, Ulceration, Pyloric obstruction.
