The Effect of Tocilizumab on Inflammatory Markers in Survivors and Non-survivors of Severe COVID-19.
To determine the effects of tocilizumab (TCZ) on inflammatory markers, laboratory indices; and short-term outcome in patients with severe COVID-19. ⋯ Tocilizumab results in a significant reduction in CRP, while mean change in LDH and D-dimers was not substantial. The mean change in inflammatory markers did not predict survival. Key Words: Tocilizumab, COVID-19, Biomarkers, Outcome, Mortality.

Predictors of Mortality in Patients with COVID-19 Infection-associated Acute Kidney Injury.
To determine clinical characteristics, renal replacement therapy (RRT) requirements, and predictors of mortality in critically ill patients with COVID-19 associated AKI. ⋯ In critically ill patients with COVID-19 pneumonia, who developed AKI, it was seen that the presence of low albumin, high LDH, and stage 3 AKI at the time of admission could be used as predictors of mortality. Moreover,, it was shown for the first time that in these patients, the high CRP/albumin ratio and low RDW could be associated with mortality. Key Words: Acute kidney injury, Mortality, COVID-19.

Has the COVID-19 Pandemic Increased Mortality Among Patients with Cancer Receiving Systemic Anticancer Treatments?
To evaluate the mortality rates in patients receiving anticancer therapy in the coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) pandemic period. ⋯ There was no unexpected increased in mortality rate among patients undergoing cancer therapy during the COVID-19 pandemic as compared to the previous years of the same timeline. No increase in monthly mortality rates among patients receiving anti-cancer treatment were demonstrated during the pandemic period.

Factors Affecting Success of Semi-rigid Ureterorenoscopy in Proximal Ureter Stone Treatment.
To evaluate the factors affecting the success of semi-rigid ureteroscopy in proximal ureter stones. ⋯ Semi-rigid URSL is a useful technique in the proximal ureter stones. The distance of the stone to the UPJ affects the success; and using laser lithotripsy and stone cone increases the success. Key Words: Ureteral stone, Ureterorenoscopy, Laser lithotriphsy, Pnomotic lithotripsy.
