Platelet-to-Lymphocyte Ratio as an Indicator to Predict Decreased Carbon Monoxide Diffusion of the Lung in Patients with Testicular Cancer.
To investigate whether the use of diffusing capacity of the lungs for carbon monoxide (DLCO) and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) could be used to predict bleomycin-induced pulmonary toxicity in patients with testicular cancer (TCa). ⋯ PLR and LDH could be used as independent predictive biomarkers for DLCO decline which is used to identify bleomycin-induced pulmonary toxicity. Key Words: Bleomycin, Markers of inflammation, Platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), Pulmonary diffusing capacity, Testicular cancer.

Small-for-Size versus Standard-Size Graft in Living Donor Liver Transplantation.
To compare the outcome of small-for-size grafts versus standard-size grafts regarding the frequency of postoperative complications, early graft dysfunction, and 1-year survival. ⋯ Frequency of post-op complications was comparable in both groups. The graft survival in small-for-size grafts was as good as for standard-size grafts. Key Words: Living donor liver transplantation, GRWR, Small-for-size graft, Standard-size graft.

Assessment of Refractive Outcome of Photo Refractive Keratectomy in Myopia and Myopic Astigmatism.
To determine the refractive outcomes of wavefront optimized photo refractive keratectomy (PRK) in patients having myopia and myopic astigmatism in terms of efficacy, safety, accuracy, stability and predictability of the procedure. ⋯ PRK is an effective, predictable, and safe treatment procedure for correcting myopia and myopic astigmatism. Key Words: Photorefractive keratectomy, Myopia, Refractive surgery, Myopic astigmatism, Uncorrected distance visual acuity.

Modulation of Oral Microflora during Helicobacter Pylori Eradication.
To analyse the saliva microbial abundance and composition by 16s rRNA sequence during Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) eradication. ⋯ The diversity and richness of salivary microbiome were reduced in H.pylori-positive patient, and bismuth-containing quadruple therapy affected oral microbiota. Key Words: Helicobacter pylori, Saliva, Microbiota, RNA, Bismuth.
