Possibilities of Interpreting the Night-to-Day Ratio Specified by 24-Hour Blood Pressure Monitoring.
Specify the risk rate of incorrect patient classification based on the night-to-day ratio specification from singular 24-h ABPM in comparison to the results of 7-day ABPM monitoring. ⋯ The specification of the night-to-day ratio of each individual for each day of the 7-day ABPM monitoring would be the most convenient option. In many patients, diagnosing could thus be based on the most frequently occurring values (mode specification).

Quality of Life of Cancer Patients during Chemotherapy in Indonesia: A Comparison of EORTC QLQ-C30 and EQ-5D-5L, Based on Patients' Characteristics.
One of the important outcomes to define the success of cancer treatment is the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) that can be measured using generic and/or specific instruments. Our study aims to define the cancer patients' HRQoL in some hospitals in Indonesia as measured by the European Organization for Research and Treatment for Cancer (EORTC QLQ-C30) and the EQ-5D-5L, to define the differences of cancer patients' HRQoL referring to patients' characteristics, and to explore determinants of cancer patients' HRQoL. We recruited 451 cancer patients using a cross-sectional design in two referral hospitals in Central Java, Indonesia, using the purposive sampling technique. ⋯ Interestingly, both of the questionnaires have shown significant correlations between similar domains and revealed the poor HRQoL of advanced cancer patients (p < 0.05). Our study finds that cancer patients still have poor HRQoL in some domains. We suggest to the health providers that they apply education and psychological intervention to increase their HRQoL.

Mean Nocturnal Baseline Impedance (MNBI) Provides Evidence for Standardized Management Algorithms of Nonacid Gastroesophageal Reflux-Induced Chronic Cough.
The clinical management of nonacid gastroesophageal reflux-induced chronic cough (GERC) is challenging, and patient response to standard antireflux therapy (omeprazole 20 mg twice daily plus mosapride 10 mg thrice daily) is suboptimal. This study aimed to identify predictors of standard antireflux therapy efficacy and provide evidence for standardized management algorithms of nonacid GERC. ⋯ Proximal MNBI < 2140 Ω may be used to screen patients with nonacid GERC suitable for standard antireflux therapy and in standardized management algorithms for nonacid GERC. In the absence of MNBI, weakly acid reflux > 45 can be used as an auxiliary indicator.

Exploring the Relationship between Perfectionism and Pain in Patients with Temporomandibular Disorders: A Cross-Sectional Study.
The purpose of this cross-sectional study was to examine the relationship between perfectionism and pain in patients with temporomandibular disorders (TMDs). ⋯ Pain-related TMD patients exhibited higher perfectionism scores than NPT patients, and neither their perfectionism nor pain scores were correlated with intra-articular diseases of TMJ. OOP and SOP presented weak correlations with psychological distress in TMD patients. It is suggested that pain-related TMD patients could be screened for perfectionism and perfectionism could be considered when proposing psychological treatment strategies to PT patients.

Linear Regression Analysis of Sleep Quality in People with Insomnia in Wuhan City during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
COVID-19 has evolved into a major global public health event. The number of people reporting insomnia is growing exponentially during the pandemic. This study aimed to explore the relationship between aggravated insomnia and COVID-19-induced psychological impact on the public, lifestyle changes, and anxiety about the future. ⋯ Fear of COVID-19 can be one of the primary contributors to worsening insomnia.
