Changes in Renal Function in Patients with Recurrence of Atrial Arrhythmia after an Initial Catheter Ablation.
Impaired renal function and atrial fibrillation (AF) can form a vicious cycle. Although there have been reports on improved renal function in patients who undergo successful AF ablation, renal function in patients with recurrence of AF has not been studied separately. We explored the changes in renal function in recurrent AF patients after catheter ablation with mild renal dysfunction and the influencing factors. ⋯ In NVAF patients with mildly impaired renal function, even those with recurrence after the initial catheter ablation, we observed improvements in renal function, which was associated with a lower △CHA2DS2-VASc score and paroxysmal recurrent arrhythmia.

Association between Different Types of Edible Oils and Anthropometric Indices Mood, and Appetite among Women.
The objective of this study was to evaluate the relationship between consumption of dietary oils and anthropometric indices, mood, and appetite among women staff of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. ⋯ In the current research, we noticed a significant connection between moderate intake of MUFA and a large appetite and no association between consumption of edible oils and other outcomes. In conclusion, a balanced diet low in fast meals, processed foods, cakes, cookies, and sweets is suggested to limit the consumption of artificial trans-fatty acids.

Noninvasive Technique to Monitor the Pressure under a Cast: A Mobile Application-Friendly Bluetooth Pressure Sensor.
The purpose of this study was to design a sensor that could monitor the skin-cast contact surface pressure (SCCSP) of a limb under a cast and inform the user via a mobile application when the pressure increases. ⋯ We can monitor SCCSP, detect limb swelling, and notify the user via a mobile application by using Bluetooth pressure sensors.

Regression of Left Ventricular Hypertrophy in Patients Combined with Peritoneal Dialysis and Hemodialysis.
This retrospective study enrolled 58 patients at The Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University who switched from PD to PHD. Clinical data and echocardiographic examination results were collected. Data from the two groups with a normal distribution were compared with the paired t-test. A pvalue <0.05 (two-tailed) was considered statistically significant. ⋯ Compared with PD alone, the combination of PD and HD resulted in regression of LVH and reduced LVMI.

Menstrual Changes after COVID-19 Infection and COVID-19 Vaccination.
Several factors such as stress, depression, infection, and vaccination influenced the menstrual cycle in women during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. We investigated whether there were changes in the menstrual cycle in women after COVID-19 vaccination or infection and, if so, the nature of the change. ⋯ COVID-19 infection and vaccination can affect the menstrual cycle in women. It is important to be aware of the menstrual changes after COVID-19 infection and vaccination and to warn and inform women about this issue.
