Multicenter StudyPredicting all-cause unplanned readmission within 30 days of discharge using electronic medical record data: a multi-center study.
To develop a predictive model for identifying patients at high risk of all-cause unplanned readmission within 30 days after discharge, using administrative data available before discharge. ⋯ We propose a 10-item predictive model to flag high-risk patients in a diverse population before discharge using readily available hospital administrative data which can easily be integrated into the hospital information system.

Multicenter StudyThe Effect of Risk Factors on Surgical and Oncological Results in High - Risk Prostate Cancer: A Multicenter Study of the Urooncology Society, Turkey.
To evaluate the effect of risk factors and selected surgical methods on operative and oncological results of patients undergoing radical prostatectomy (RP) with high-risk prostate cancer (HRPC). ⋯ RP alone is an effective treatment in the majority of patients with HRPC and PLND did not affect the progression rates after RP. According to the number of pre-operative high-risk features, as the number of risk factors increases, there is a need for additional treatment.

Multicenter StudyThe effect of optical dilatation before retrograde intrarenal surgery on success and complications: results of the RIRSearch group study.
The guidelines propose optical dilatation before retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS), but there are currently no evidence-based studies concerning the impact of optical dilatation with semirigid ureteroscopy (sURS). The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of optical dilatation through sURS prior to the RIRS procedure on the success and complications of RIRS. ⋯ Optical dilatation with sURS before RIRS increases surgical success by raising the rate of UAS placement and reducing the rate of intraoperative complications. We suggest that this method can be routinely applied to patients who have not been passively dilated with a JJ stent.

Multicenter StudyThe Efficacy of Rituximab in Patients with Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder: a Real-World Study from Turkey.
Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) are a group of antibody-mediated chronic inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system. Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody that leads to a reduction in disease activity. ⋯ Rituximab therapy is efficacious in the treatment of Turkish NMOSD patients independent of the presence of the anti-AQP4-IgG antibody.

Multicenter StudyEffect of COVID-19 Medications on Corrected QT Interval and Induction of Torsade de Pointes: Results of a Multicenter National Survey.
There are some data showing that repurposed drugs used for the Coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) have potential to increase the risk of QTc prolongation and torsade de pointes (TdP), and these arrhythmic side effects have not been adequately addressed in COVID-19 patients treated with these repurposed medications. ⋯ This cohort showed significant QTc prolongation with all COVID-19 medications studied, however, life-threatening arrhythmia of TdP occurred rarely. Among the repurposed drugs studied, hydroxychloroquine or lopinavir-ritonavir alone or in combination with azithromycin clearly demonstrated to increase the risk of critical QT prolongation and/or TdP.
