Review Comparative StudyLive versus deceased donor in uterus transplantation.
Uterus transplantation to treat absolute uterine factor infertility is a rapidly evolving field still at its early clinical experimental stage. Most human uterus transplantation attempts and live births have been after transplantation with uteri from live donors, who, in most cases, are closely related to the recipient. However, successful transplant with live births after uterus transplantation from deceased donors has also been reported. This article discusses the pros and cons in relation to live and deceased donors for uterus transplantation.

Uterus transplantation is the first available treatment for absolute uterine factor infertility. Live births have been reported after transplantation of uteri both from live and deceased donors. Although this novel infertility treatment is still at its experimental stage, with human attempts performed within clinical trials, there is a rapid development in the field. ⋯ There is now a move to introduce minimally invasive surgery in live donor surgery transplantation, and in the future this may also be applied to recipient surgery. There is a continuous debate whether live donor or deceased donor uterus is the organ source for optimal outcome. Ongoing studies and the general development of the uterus transplantation field will shed light on the pros and cons of each donor source.

Correlation between hysteroscopy findings and chronic endometritis.
To evaluate the role of hysteroscopy in the diagnosis of chronic endometritis (CE). ⋯ The finding of endometrial hyperemia, micro-polyps or endometrial interstitial edema during hysteroscopy should alert to the diagnosis of CE, but the overall accuracy of hysteroscopic examination with regard to the diagnosis of CE is only 67%, so it should not be used to replace histologic examination as the diagnostic tool of choice. In women in whom a diagnosis of CE is considered likely, endometrial biopsy should be obtained to examine plasma cells by immunohistochemistry, which should remain the preferred method for diagnosis.

Comparative StudyOne hundred mosaic embryos transferred prospectively in a single clinic: exploring when and why they result in healthy pregnancies.
To investigate the parameters of mosaicism and the biological mechanisms leading to healthy pregnancies from mosaic embryo transfers. ⋯ After euploid embryos, mosaic embryos can be considered for transfer, prioritizing those of the single segmental mosaic type. If a patient has mosaic embryos available that were generated at different ages, preference should be given to those made at younger ages. Intrablastocyst karyotype discordance and differential cell proliferation and death might be reasons that embryos classified as mosaic can result in healthy pregnancies and babies.
