Clinical data on short mandatory dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) followed by P2Y12 inhibitor monotherapy, compared with prolonged DAPT in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) are insufficient. We aim to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of P2Y12 inhibitor monotherapy and prolonged DAPT after short mandatory DAPT on cardiovascular events in patients undergoing PCI. ⋯ This meta-analysis demonstrated that short mandatory DAPT followed by P2Y12 inhibitor monotherapy compared with prolonged DAPT resulted in noninferior rates of MACCE, all-cause mortality, cardiac death, stroke, myocardial infarction and stent thrombosis. Furthermore, short mandatory DAPT followed by P2Y12 inhibitor monotherapy could significantly reduce the risk of bleeding BARC type 2-5.

Psychological stress levels in women with endometriosis: systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies.
Endometriosis is defined as the presence of endometrial-like tissue outside the uterus, associated with chronic and inflammatory reaction. Symptoms range from dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, chronic pelvic pain, unexplained infertility to asymptomatic. The patients' quality of life is affected by anxiety, depression and stress. We aimed to verify the prevalence and levels of psychological stress among women with endometriosis. ⋯ This is the first meta-analysis exploring the association between endometriosis and psychological stress. The interdisciplinary management of the disease should expand the mental health support in this patient care, beyond pain management. Finally, the attitude of the medical team acknowledging the patients' psychological stress may positively affect their treatment.

Endoscopic ultrasound-guided (EUS) biliary drainage was used as an alternative method for patients who failed endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). In recent years, an increasing number of patients was treated with EUS-biliary drainage (BD), but lack of data was available to value the efficacy and safety between EUS and ERCP. Therefore, a review was needed to evaluate the similarities and differences between the two methods and explored whether EUS-guided biliary drainage could be considered as first-line treatment. ⋯ EUS-BD and ERCP-BD in terms of relief of malignant biliary obstruction presented the similarity rate of technical success, clinical success and there is no significant difference in adverse events of two procedures. EUS-BD could be used as a substitute for ERCP-BD, even considered as first-line treatment.

Helicobacter pylori infection and the risk of colorectal carcinoma: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Helicobacter pylori is a gram-negative bacterium that is colonized in the stomach. H. pylori infection can lead to a series of stomach diseases. However, the relationship between H. pylori infection and colorectal cancer is currently controversial. Therefore, we performed this meta-analysis to further understand the relationship between H. pylori infection and colorectal cancer. ⋯ The present meta-analysis provides evidence suggests that a positive association between H. pylori infection and the risk of colorectal cancer.

SNHG and UCA1 as prognostic molecular biomarkers in hepatocellular carcinoma: recent research and meta-analysis.
The latest studies have shown that the long non-coding RNAs seemed to be qualified markers of cancer. So we sought to assess the prognostic value of SNHG and UCA1 as predictive markers of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). ⋯ Our meta-analysis demonstrated that SNHG and UCA1 may serve as prognostic biomarkers for HCC prognosis.
