We report our experience with cancer care delivery during the peak of COVID-19 pandemic in New York City. ⋯ Cancer care delivery is safe and feasible using an approach focused on careful patient selection, team communication and infection control.

The aim of the study was to examine management of pediatric appendiceal neuroendocrine tumors (ANETs) in Poland. ⋯ Applying ENETS guidelines resulted in 100% overall survival of patients with NET.

Amantadine is a well-known medication with indications in neurology and infectious diseases. It is currently FDA approved for Parkinson's disease, drug-induced extrapyramidal symptoms, and influenza. ⋯ A more cautious approach to the patients taking amantadine as far as vaccination utilizing LNP-mRNA platform should be considered.

We systematically reviewed benefits and harms of convalescent plasma (CP) in hospitalized COVID-19 patients. ⋯ In comparison to SOC or placebo + SOC, CP did not reduce all-cause mortality in RCTs of hospitalized COVID-19 patients. Convalescent plasma did not have an effect on other clinical or safety outcomes. Until now there is no good quality evidence to recommend CP for hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

There is growing attention towards the possible long-term effect of COVID-19 on neuropsychiatric disorders. ⋯ Synaid was well tolerated and effective in improving cognitive function and psychosocial parameters after SARS-CoV-2 infection.
