Our goal was to systematically review the current evidence comparing the relative effectiveness of two maxillary sinus floor elevation (MSFE) approaches (internal and external) without bone grafts with that of conventional/grafted MSFE in patients undergoing implantation in the posterior maxilla. ⋯ This systematic review revealed that both non-graft and grafted MSFE had high implant survival rates. Owing to the moderate strength of the evidence and short-term follow-up, the results should be interpreted with caution.

Timely and effective treatments of pericoronitis are very important. We aimed to evaluate the role of ornidazole in the treatment of pericoronitis, to provide insights for clinical pericoronitis treatment. ⋯ Ornidazole is effective in the treatment of pericoronitis, with more advantages. Still, the effects and safety of ornidazole in the treatment of pericoronitis need to be evaluated by more high-quality RCTs with larger sample sizes.

The objective of this study was to estimate the safety profile of pulmonary hypertension-specific therapies using placebo-controlled and active comparator trials. ⋯ About half of the main categories and subcategories of adverse reactions according to MedRA were associated with a relatively high frequency and hazard ratio. Their risk can be increased when combination regimens are used, especially.

To explore the relationship between the tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs) and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs), and their distribution characteristics as well as the prognostic value in gastric cancer (GC). ⋯ We provide evidence that TLSs were positively associated with lymphocyte infiltration in GC. Thus, the formation of TLSs predicts advantageous immune system function and can be considered as a novel biomarker to stratify the overall survival risk of untreated GC patients.

The study aimed to determine the level of basic hope and symptoms of anxiety and depression in women after miscarriage. Methods: To evaluate the symptoms of anxiety and depression, and basic hope, the standardized questionnaires the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) and the Basic Hope Inventory (BHI-12), respectively, were used. Patients hospitalized at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the Provincial Combined Hospital in Kielce due to miscarriage in the period from September 2019 to August 2021 were included in the study. ⋯ It was found that the level of hope significantly increased after 3 months compared to this level during hospitalization. Hope was associated with lower levels of anxiety and depression symptoms.
