Fibromyalgia (FM) is a non-degenerative syndrome characterized by generalized, chronic musculoskeletal pain, as well as mood, memory and sleep disorders. ⋯ 30% of FMPs have ANeuA that have not been described before. In future studies, it will be necessary for anti-neural immunoreactivity to be determined in a larger sample and for the role of ANeuAs in the pathophysiology of FM to be established.

The study of anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibodies allows asymptomatic individuals with COVID-19 to be identified, and post-infection and post-vaccination immunity status to be evaluated. ⋯ The study of anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibodies allowed asymptomatic health workers to be identified. A high percentage of participants with prior COVID-19 diagnosis had antibodies. All participants developed IgG antibodies after vaccination, with higher titers being identified in those with previous infection.

Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder whose etiology continues to be discussed, to the point that there are different hypotheses that seek to clarify it, in addition to the fact that, given its multifactorial nature, there are different risk factors associated with its development. As regards diagnosis, advances in molecule detection techniques at femtomolar scales have allowed to distinguish between healthy and diseased subjects at relatively early stages, although there is still much to be done. ⋯ Approval of this antibody as a disease-modifying treatment for Alzheimer's disease opens the door to continue using this type of treatments, but with different therapeutic targets, such as, for example, tau protein. Finally, given the population tendency towards longevity, conditions such as Alzheimer's disease are gaining epidemiological importance, which is why it is imperative to analyze and link what is being done in the social, familiar, clinical and research fields and, most importantly, to find those areas of opportunity for the benefit of the patient.

Evaluation of the usefulness of vitamin D as a predictor of mortality in patients with COVID-19.
One of the functions of vitamin D is to regulate respiratory epithelium inflammatory response; therefore, deficiency of this vitamin in the context of COVID-19 could constitute a predictive biomarker of the disease outcome. ⋯ Age and vitamin D concentration were predictive factors for mortality in COVID-19-infected patients.
