Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a highly contagious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Infection with SARS-CoV may cause coronary plaque instability and lead to acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Management of ACS in patients with COVID-19 needs more consideration of the balance between clinical benefit and transmission risk of virus. This review provides recommendations of management strategies for ACS in patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 in Taiwan.

To update information about the internationally accepted standards and clinical recommendations for the detection and diagnosis of primary aldosteronism (PA). ⋯ With introduction of these new concepts to the clinicians, we expect better identification, management and treatment of PA patients.

To explore unmet needs for inpatient rehabilitation services and assess the relative preference of new technology versus current practice by a structured decision-making model. ⋯ The preference global weights on the needs to integrate new technologies into rehabilitation services aims to improve efficiency, safety and outcome. Further studies are needed to explore the needs from the perspective of the patients.

Significant associations between suicide behaviors and inappropriate suicide reports in the media have been reported. The study aimed to examine the quality of long-term suicide reports under surveillance by the Taiwan Suicide Prevention Center (TSPC). ⋯ The quality of suicide reports significantly improved in most WHO guideline items. Development of psychiatric-media liaisons may be beneficial for further improvement.
