The integration of art therapy in health care is a growing trend in the care of cancer patients. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the physical and mental benefits of art in children with cancer. ⋯ It seems that the use of art therapy in pediatric palliative care with cancer can have good physical and psychological results for the child, but it is suggested to evaluate the effects of these interventions in children at the end of life.

Family-centered collaborative care for patients with chronic mental illness: A systematic review.
Chronic mental illnesses (CMI) are long lasting and reoccurring and require continuous care as well as an integrated and collaborative approach to organize the care. This study sought to examine whether family centered collaborative care is an acceptable treatment option for individuals with CMI. ⋯ The findings demonstrated that family involvement in the care of patients with CMI affects no recurrence of the disease, and no re hospitalization of patients with this disorder. As a result, engaging family members in the care process can have a positive impact on the health and well being of these patients.

There is a paucity of systematic reviews on the associated factors of mortality among ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). This meta-analysis was designed to synthesize available evidence on the prevalence and associated factors of mortality after PCI for adult patients with STEMI. ⋯ The pooled prevalence of mortality after PCI for STEMI patients was 10%, and 17 risk factors were significantly associated with mortality for STEMI patients after PCI.

Ganoderma lucidum (G. lucidum) is one of the most popular edible mushrooms in the world which has various pharmacological components. Recently, some animal studies have investigated the lipid-lowering effects of G. lucidum and have shown contradictory results. This study aims to systematically review the effects of G. lucidum on lipid parameters in animal studies. ⋯ G. lucidum has favorable effects on TG, TC, LDL-C, HDL-C, and VLDL. Different doses of G. lucidum have various degrees of effectiveness on lipid profiles.

The denervation or activation of the sympathetic nerve in the kidney can affect renal hemodynamics. The sympathetic nervous system regulates the physiological functions of the kidneys. Stimulation of sympathetic efferent nerves affects various parameters related to renal hemodynamics, including sodium excretion, renin secretion, and renal blood flow (RBF). ⋯ The effect of renal sympathetic denervation on RBF is dependent on several factors such as interspecies differences, the basic level of nerve activity in the vessels or local density of adrenergic receptor in the vascular bed. The role of renal denervation has been investigated therapeutically in hypertension and related disorders. Hence, the dynamic impact of renal nerves on RBF enables using RBF dynamic criteria as a marker for renal denervation therapy.
