Mucopolysaccharidosis type III (MPS III) is an extremely rare group of diseases among all MPS types. In recent years, there are studies about the presence and importance of cardiac involvement in MPS III patients as in other types of MPS. ⋯ We conclude that cardiac monitoring of MPS III patients is very important in terms of early detection and treatment of cardiac problems that may arise. Cardiac evaluation of larger series of MPS III patients are needed to make a better decision.

Vesicovaginal and rectovaginal fistulas may develop after pelvic metastasis of ovarian carcinoma. Purulent discharge from the vagina results in frequent vaginal or urinary tract infections, and triggers chronic inflammation. These incapacitating symptoms create serious medical and psychosocial problems, and result in low self-esteem and QoL. ⋯ Surgery was performed successfully. However, we had to deal with complications, such as electrolyte imbalance, wound infection and continuing SIRS. Cumulative inflammatory burden caused by advanced carcinoma itself and its complications creates serious medical and psychosocial problems and should be managed with patience.

Radiation-related caries is a complex destructive lesion leading to uncompromising damage of enamel and dentin in patients suffering from head and neck cancer managed with radiotherapy. ⋯ Though radiation exposure did not alter the enamel permeability and surface topography, it had caused significant chemical compositional changes. Carbon content was significantly reduced in irradiated enamel samples.

Ameloblastoma is a benign epithelial odontogenic tumor with a tendency for recurrence. Some recurrent tumors could behave unpredictably with atypical microscopic changes. ⋯ There was a high recurrence rate of recurrent tumors of ameloblastoma demonstrated in the present study, with a malignant presentation in some cases.

Renal angiomyolipoma is the commonest benign solid kidney neoplasm though rare in clinical practice. The advent of radiological imaging techniques, refinement in surgical approach and techniques and availability of mammalian target of rapamycin have improved the outcome in these cohort of patients. ⋯ The incidence of renal angiomyolipoma among solid renal masses is 4.9% in our environment. Open radical nephrectomy is still the preferred method of treatment with satisfactory outcome.
