Various healthcare professionals, including dentists, provide botulinum toxin (Botox) for cosmetic and therapeutic treatment. In dentistry, it has multiple uses, such as gummy smile, bruxism, sialorrhea, muscle spasm, and orofacial pain, yet unwanted side effects may arise. ⋯ The usage of Botox therapy in the field of dentistry has increased significantly. Participants had an acceptable level of knowledge regarding the use of Botox in esthetic practices but lacked knowledge of the therapeutic scope of Botox therapy. The majority of participants had no doubt about the medical professionals administering Botox. It is advised to educate the public about the extent of Botox treatment and offer a trustworthy source of information required.

The study aimed to compare the outcomes of Open Reduction and Cannulated Screw Fixation (ORCF) and Open Reduction and Tension Band Wire Fixation (ORTF) for treating minimally displaced patellar fractures, with the intention to discern the more efficacious surgical method in terms of various clinical and radiographic parameters. ⋯ The ORCF method, leveraging headless compression screws and cerclage wire fixation, emerges as a promising approach for managing minimally displaced transverse patellar fractures, potentially offering improved clinical results and patient satisfaction in comparison to the traditional ORTF method. Further expansive and diverse studies are warranted to substantiate these findings.

Testis sparing surgery (TSS) has an important role in preserving the functional capacity of testicular cancer (TC). Germ cell neoplasia in situ (GCNIS) lesions in the remaining testis have a significant risk for local recurrence. ⋯ Leaving a 5 mm safety margin during TSS would lead to excise the satellite GCNIS lesions in half of the patients. Increasing the safety margin to 7 mm would lead to excise the satellite GCNIS lesions at 75% of the patients.

The prevalence of renal masses has escalated as a result of the augmented utilization of cross-sectional imaging techniques. The approach to managing renal masses may exhibit variability contingent upon the subtype of renal cell carcinoma (RCC). ⋯ Hyperintensity on T2-weighted images, microscopic fat content, and rapid enhancement pattern may be indicative of clear cell RCC, whereas hypointensity on T2-weighted images, hemosiderin content, and a progressive contrast pattern may be diagnostic for papillary RCC.

Benign Orofacial Vascular Anomalies: Review of 47 Cases in Enugu, Nigeria.
A study of oral vascular anomalies has not been conducted in Nigeria to provide baseline data for comparison with reports in the literature. ⋯ Oral vascular anomalies predominantly presented as pyogenic granuloma on the gingivae, while oral hemangioma was observed in adults, and lymphangioma was infrequent.
