Multicenter Study
Relationship between health literacy and maternal bonding: A prospective cross-sectional study.
Maternal bonding has an effect on the baby throughout its life. The effective and complete occurrence of the mother-baby bond depends on many factors which can be individual or environmental. Health literacy plays an important role in the health behaviors of individuals, the prevention of diseases, and the improvement of health. Health literacy is a key determinant of medical-related issues. ⋯ Factors that may affect maternal bonding, which affects a baby's entire life, should be addressed by the authorities and necessary improvements would be useful. We believe that this previously unexplored study will pave the way for multicenter similar studies.

Epidemiological trends and seasonal dynamics of tuberculosis in Southeastern Turkey.
Tuberculosis (TB) is an important public health issue. Determining TB trend and seasonal variability provides useful information for designing treatment strategies and control programs. ⋯ Spring and summer peaks detected in total TB cases and in many subgroups indicate that multicenter and comprehensive clinical studies are needed to explain these variations.

Over 70% of Nigeria's population is poor and rural, and most lack financial risk protection against ill health. Community-based health insurance (CBHI) may be an essential intervention strategy for ensuring that quality healthcare reaches the informal and rural populations. ⋯ This community demand analysis shows that rural and peri-urban community members are open to using a contributory mechanism for their health care, raising the prospect of establishing CBHI. To achieve universal health coverage, policy measures need to be taken to promote participation, provide financial and non-financial incentives and ensure that the service delivery mechanism is affordable and accessible. Further studies are needed to explore ways to encourage participation and enrollment in CBHI and other contributory schemes among under-served populations and improve access to and utilization of healthcare services.

Randomized Controlled Trial
A comparison of 30-, 50-, and 60-mL foley catheter balloon volume and time to achieve cervical ripening for labor induction: A triple-blind randomized controlled trial.
Cervical ripening is one of the most important determinants of the outcome of induction of labor. The findings of studies on the most efficacious inflatable catheter balloon volume for pre-induction cervical ripening have been inconclusive. ⋯ The findings of this study showed that the larger single Foley catheter balloon volumes (50-mL and 60-mL) aside from being well tolerated and acceptable have the ability to induce faster changes in Bishop score, produce higher cervical dilation, and thus likely reduce significantly the total labor induction process compared to the 30-mL single catheter balloon volume irrespective of parity.

Intrauterine occupying lesion is clinically common in the female reproductive organs. Endometrial cancer is the most critical one among intrauterine occupying lesions, which accordingly is considered as the main indication for endometrial cancer screening, for which endometrial sampler SAP-1 was recommended as an effective sampling tool. ⋯ Endometrial sampler SAP-1 is not effective in detection of solid intrauterine lesions indicated by the imaging examination. Hysteroscopy is recommended for definite diagnosis.
