To compare the intravenous Labetalol versus intravenous hydralazine in patients having severe Pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH) and pre eclampsia (PE) in pregnancy. ⋯ Intra Venous labetalol lowered MAP more than hydralazine, when administered to pregnant females with severe Pregnancy induced hypertension and pre eclampsia in pregnancy.

To evaluate the consumption, prevalence, side effects and awareness of energy drinks among female university students in Saudi Arabia. ⋯ A significant proportion of female students at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz have reported to consume energy drinks regularly with several adverse effects. The government of Saudi Arabia should take serious initiatives towards organizing effective awareness programs specifically in universities and colleges to control the consumption of energy drinks and educate on the adverse effects.

To describe the efficacy of Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery(FESS) in our set up in comparison with other published studies to treat primary and recurrent nasal polyposis. ⋯ Functional endoscopic sinus surgery is preferred as a primary treatment modality for primary and recurrent nasal polyposis. Mucosal polyps can be carefully debrided, the natural ostia enlarged, the ethmoid sinuses are unroofed, and sphenoid sinuses are opened in nasal cavity and sinus nasal mucosa is mostly preserved due to excellent visualization and surgical technique. Improvement in symptoms with minimal chance of recurrence may be expected in more than 90% patients.

To describe the frequency of color vision deficiency among Pakistani adults presenting for pre-employment health screening in a tertiary care hospital. ⋯ Color vision deficiency was observed in 0.9% of candidates screened for pre-employment health check up in a tertiary care hospital. The color vision deficiency was predominantly present in male individuals.

Smartphone-based thermal imaging was evaluated for its utility in the detection of peritonsillar abscesses. ⋯ This new portable smartphone-based thermal imaging technique may be useful in the detection of peritonsillar abscesses.
