To compare Early Oral Refeeding (EORF) with Routine Oral Refeeding (RORF) on outcome of patients of mild Acute Pancreatitis (AP) in terms of Mean Length of Hospital Stay (LOHS). ⋯ In patients of mild acute pancreatitis, early oral feeding is feasible and safe and has better outcome then those with routine oral refeeding.

To investigate the clinical significance of human epididymal secretory protein E4 (HE4) in combination with cancer antigen 125 (CA125) in the diagnosis of endometrial cancer. ⋯ Serum HE4 and CA125 are the ideal marker combination for the diagnosis of endometrial cancer. HE4 combined with CA125 is beneficial to the diagnosis of endometrial cancer; hence it is worth promotion in clinical practice.

This study was conducted to adduce evidence of validity for admissions tests and processes and for identifying a parsimonious model that predicts students' academic achievement in Medical College. ⋯ This study shows that in addition to biology and chemistry which have been traditionally used as major criteria for admission to medical colleges in Pakistan; mathematics has proven to be a better predictor for higher achievements in medical college.

To determine the frequency of post-operative pulmonary complications (PPCs) after cardio-pulmonary bypass and association of pre-operative and intraoperative risk factors with incidence of PPCs. ⋯ The incidence of post-operative pulmonary complications was 6.2% in this study. Advanced age (age ≥ 60 years), prolonged CPB time (CPB time > 120 minutes), pre-op pulmonary hypertension and intraoperative phrenic nerve injury are independent risk factors of PPCs after surgery.

To investigate the expression of Topo IIα and Ki67 and its clinical significance. ⋯ Topo IIα and Ki67 can be regarded as the indicators for reflecting the proliferation activity of tumor cells, and the detection of Topo IIα and Ki67 expression is of great significance to the prognosis evaluation of breast cancer patients and clinical treatment.
