To study the dynamic changes and clinical significance of serum S100B protein and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) in patients with delayed encephalopathy after acute carbon monoxide poisoning (DEACMP). ⋯ DEACMP was accompanied by secondary brain injury, for which glial activation may be important. Serum S100B and GFAP levels may be related to prognosis.
