To determine the awareness, consumption patterns of energy drinks (ED) and health hazards among students at a Turkish University. ⋯ ED consumption among Erciyes University students was widespread. Students should be informed about EDs' hazards for health. Legal regulations regarding production, marketing and advertising of EDs must be reconsidered.

Pregnancy and depression affect each other. The main objective of our study was to find out frequency of antenatal depression during last trimester and associated risk factors among pregnant female visiting a tertiary care private institution of Lahore, Pakistan. ⋯ According to Goldberg Depression Scale, 40.89% (n=184) of pregnant women seeking antenatal care in private tertiary care institution of Lahore suffered from depression.

In obstetric patients' airway, guidelines have recommended the availability of advanced airway equipment. Our aim was to compare the larynx visualization provided by the Macintosh direct laryngoscope and McGrath video laryngoscope and the intubation time of patients undergoing cesarean section. ⋯ The McGrath VL significantly lowered intubation time relative to the Macintosh DL, which may be a critical finding considering the importance of maintaining the mother's airway for the health of both mother and baby.

Kikuchi disease (KD) or also known as Kikuchi Fujimoto disease is named after scientists Kikuchi and Fujimoto who describe the disease in Japan in 1972. KD originally reported from Asia but later case reports from different regions of world have been published. ⋯ It is a rare condition and mostly case reports have been published, it can have an association with other pathologies. We aim to report a case where KD has been found in a young woman in association with hemolytic uremic syndrome and acute kidney injury.

To determine in-hospital mortality and major adverse cardiac events (MACE) in acute coronary syndrome (AMI) patients with underlying severe chronic kidney disease (CKD) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). ⋯ Severe CKD patients undergoing PCI for AMI have drastically poor outcomes therefore individualization and patient-centric care management is mandatory.
