Structured trauma care has proven to improve patient outcomes, and this is more relevant in the low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The objective of this study was to determine the distribution, etiology, severity and outcomes of trauma patients at the Indus Hospital. ⋯ Most trauma patients were males suffering from RTA. Nearly half of the patients were critically injured on arrival. EMS is not utilized by trauma patients. There were gaps identified in the diagnosis and treatment of trauma.

To explore the value of gastrointestinal endoscopy in the early diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors and lay a foundation for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors. ⋯ Gastrointestinal endoscopy can accurately identify the pathological changes of tumors in the early diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors, improve the diagnostic accuracy rate, and guide the implementation of treatment measures to improve clinical indicators. Moreover the incidence of postoperative complications is low. It is worth clinical promotion.

To study the value of color Doppler ultrasound and ultrasound contrast in differential diagnosis of ovarian tumors. ⋯ In the differential diagnosis of ovarian tumors, ultrasound contrast has more advantages than color Doppler ultrasound in displaying the blood perfusion information of tumors. It has high diagnostic accuracy and clinical application value.

Meningioma is the benign tumor that can also occurs during pregnancy. We are reporting a case of 29 years, 13th weeks pregnant lady, who underwent supratentorial craniotomy using awake through out approach. The case report highlights the challenges we faced during anaesthetic management, which includes psychological preparation, institution of scalp block and successful neurological monitoring. Technique proven to be useful considering pregnancy related physiological and tumor related pathological changes, the impact of which lies directly on maternal & fetal wellbeing.

Vascular anomalies are a diverse group of lesions, ranging from simple to complex, disfiguring anomalies. Our objective was to diagnose and provide comprehensive treatment to patients presenting with vascular anomalies, using a multi-disciplinary approach involving dermatologists, plastic surgeons, radiologists and pediatric surgeons. ⋯ Vascular anomalies have mostly been managed successfully at VAC using single or multimodal treatment. Increasingly complex anomalies can be handled using a multi-disciplinary approach. Establishment of VAC has facilitated many patients who were earlier considered as diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.
