We aimed to investigate the prognostic factors related to 30 day mortality of elderly patients with respiratory failure in the intensive care unit (ICU). ⋯ High APACHE II score, low CCI, low albumin levels and the requirement for inotropic support were found to be independently risk factors of 30-day mortality in the geriatric patients with respiratory failure in ICU.

To evaluate the application value of dynamic enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) in the clinical diagnosis in hospital based on the fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm and conduct its cost-benefit analysis in practice. ⋯ The application of MRI in the Clinical Diagnosis helps hospital promote the therapeutic effect, thus having great practical value, and also contributes to increasing benefits in the long run.

To investigate and compare the effect of decompression and fusion with internal fixation vs. simple decompression in the treatment of elderly patients with two-segment lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) in perioperative and postoperative follow-up periods. ⋯ There is no significant difference in leg pain relief in elderly patients with two-segment LSS when treated with decompression and fusion with internal fixation or simple decompression. Simple decompression is associated with less intraoperative injuries, better postoperative functional recovery, and reduced hospital stay.

This paper summarizes the MRI imaging findings of primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) in the posterior cranial fossa to improve the accuracy of PCNSL diagnosis in the posterior cranial fossa. ⋯ PCNSL in posterior cranial fossa has certain characteristics. DWI, ADC value and MRS are helpful to improve the correct diagnosis rate of PCNSL.

To explore the value of multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) in predicting microvascular invasion in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). ⋯ Microvascular invasion of HCC can be predicted by MSCT manifestations before surgery.
