The loss of expression of syndecansyndecan-1 is associated with poor prognosis in many types of human cancer. The objective of this study was to evaluate the relation between syndecan-1 immunoexpression and several clinicopathological parameters in a subset of colorectal carcinoma (CRC) patients. ⋯ Loss of syndecan-1 immunoexpression is associated with metastatic potential, tumor recurrence and shorter survival in CRC and is considered a potential biomarker of poor prognosis in CRC patients.

To explore the predictive effect of abnormal glucose metabolism and fetal hemodynamic parameters on adverse pregnancy outcome. ⋯ Color Doppler ultrasound measured MCA-PI<1.56 the most important indicators of poor pregnancy outcomes as abnormal glucose metabolism during pregnancy and predict the exact cutoff. Pregnant women, older age, body mass index ≥24.0kg/m2 and a family history of diabetes and abnormal glucose metabolism during pregnancy risk factors for adverse outcomes of pregnancy.

Multi-drug resistant methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strains that have been isolated frequently worldwide have difficulties in the treatment and therefore alternative choices for the treatment of the infections are required. The aim of the study was to evaluate the interaction of various antimicrobials in combination with vancomycin against MRSA. ⋯ The results of the study indicate that the use of vancomycin in combination with conventional and new generation antibiotics is promising.

The paper uses the convolutional neural network algorithm in the deep learning algorithm to explore the therapeutic effect of surgical treatment of hyperextension injuries associated with ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament of the cervical spine. ⋯ Convolutional neural network algorithm in the deep learning algorithm based on the cervical spine posterior longitudinal ligament ossification hyperextension injury was significantly improved after surgery. The less preoperative neurological damage, the postoperative neurological function, the degree of improvement, there was no significant correlation between the degree of spinal stenosis and the improvement of postoperative spinal cord function. For patients with ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament, if there are neurological symptoms, early surgical treatment is recommended to relieve the compression, so as to prevent irreversible neurological damage caused by trauma.

To explore the technical points, approach selection and short-term clinical efficacy of PELD through the intervertebral foramina or interlaminar approach in the treatment of highly shifted LDH. ⋯ When PELD is used to treat high-displacement LDH, the choice of transforaminal approach or interlaminar approach needs to be personalized according to the LDH segment and the direction of displacement.
