To determine the changes produced in mitral valve morphology after Percutaneous Trans-Venous Mitral Commissurotomy. ⋯ PTMC is associated with significant changes in mitral valve morphology in terms of splitting of the fused mitral commissures, increased MVA, improved leaflet excursion, and splitting of the subvalvular structures.

The objective of the current study was to find prevalence of relevant ESBL and carbapenemase producing genes in nosocomial E. coli and K. pneumoniae isolates and to check phenotypic susceptibility of all ESBL positive isolates to carbapenems. ⋯ The significant presence of both ESBL and carbapenemase producers and co-existence of ESBL and carbapenemases in the same isolates is worrisome.

Sodium glucose co-transporter-2 inhibitors (SGLT 2 inhibitors) are newer anti-hyperglycemic agents, which improve glycemic control independent of insulin secretion with a low risk of hypoglycemia. This study aimed to assess the efficacy of SGLT 2 inhibitors in terms of glycemic control, weight reduction and safety profile in our patients with type 2 Diabetes (T2D). ⋯ Dapagliflozin and Empagliflozin offer a significant additional drug in improving glycemic control with the additional advantage of weight loss and hypoglycemia safety.

To assess trends of real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction test in Coronavirus infected Patients. ⋯ To conclude Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (rT-PCR) inclines to give false negative results additionally can stay positive in asymptomatic patients for moderately longer-term. Hence decision to discharge ought to be intricately adjusted between RT-PCR, clinical judgement, radiological examinations, and biochemical assays.

To explore the diagnostic effect of ultrasound imaging on the illness severity, and to analyze neurobehavioral development of neonates with Infectious Pneumonia (IPN), Self- Adaptation (SD), and Spatial Smoothing (SS) technologies were adopted to build SDSS. Then, the WFFSF algorithm based on Wiener Filtering (WF) and Feature Space Fusion (FSF) and the SNRP-FSF algorithm based on Signal-to-noise ratio post-filtering (SNRP) and FSF were introduced for comparison. ⋯ In contrast with traditional algorithms, the SDSS algorithm based on AD has a better reconstruction effect on neonatal IPN ultrasound images. The lung ultrasound score can clearly indicate the severity of the disease and neurobehavioral development of neonate IPN, and the lung ultrasound score is negatively correlated with the severity of the child's disease and the abnormality of neurobehavioral development.
