To determine the frequency of vaccination status in patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection. ⋯ The frequency of SARS-CoV-2 infection was greater in unvaccinated patients. The odds of developing severe COVID infection in unvaccinated patients versus vaccinated was 8.55 times higher.

To evaluate the efficacy of arthroscopic internal drainage (AID) and cyst wall resection (CWR) in children with popliteal cysts. ⋯ AID plus CWR is a minimally invasive and safe approach for pediatric patients with popliteal cysts to promote postoperative recovery and reduce the recurrence rate.

To determine the effect of Team-based learning (TBL) on the critical thinking of health professions students. ⋯ TBL improves five out of six dimensions of students' critical thinking. Besides its established evidence to increase knowledge, TBL can also be used as a teaching methodology for enhancing students' critical thinking.

Treatment of pulmonary embolism varies according to the different clinical presentations. Pulmonary embolism response teams (PERT) might improve outcomes of pulmonary embolism with faster evaluation and increased usage of advanced treatment methods. In this study, the effects of PERT for the treatment of pulmonary embolism were investigated. ⋯ PERT might help early triage and treatment of patients with pulmonary embolism. Experienced specialists in this team might contribute to clinical recovery by performing advanced treatment methods and decreasing the risk of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension in the long term.

To investigate the benefits of Sufu medical chitosan hydrogel dressing(Sufu) in the prevention and control of radiation skin damage during radiotherapy for cervical cancer as a combined modality. ⋯ During radiotherapy for cervical cancer, Sufu can effectively prevent and control radiation-induced skin and mucous membrane damage, delay the onset of radiation dermatitis and substantially reduce the incidence rate, relieve radiation dermatitis and pain and promote wound healing.
