To observe the anesthesia and clinical efficacy of inhalation anesthesia and intravenous anesthesia in patients with trigeminal neuralgia undergoing surgery. ⋯ Inhalation anesthesia with sevoflurane is more effective than intravenous anesthesia in trigeminal neuralgia patients treated with trigeminal nerve balloon avulsion, boasting satisfactory safety, less impact on hemodynamics, and shorter recovery time of consciousness.

To explore the effect of clinical pharmacists participating in nutritional therapy for patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI) complicated with dysphagia. ⋯ Pharmaceutical intervention in nutritional therapy for patients with ACI complicated with dysphagia has positive significance in further improving the nutritional status and nutritional indexes, enhancing the efficacy of drug treatment and reducing the risk of adverse events, and is worthy of promotion.

To investigate the clinical changes of serum melatonin and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) levels in patients with basal ganglia hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (HICH). ⋯ Low serum melatonin levels and high ICAM-1 levels are associated with poor prognosis in patients with HICH and can be used as predictors of patients' prognosis.

To find the incidence of various complications of therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) in ICU admitted children and to determine their association with age, gender, blood group and diagnosis of the patients. ⋯ The majority of problems caused by TPE are considered to be minor. Sudden fall in blood pressure, pruritus, urticarial rash and fever are the common adverse consequences among pediatric patients. Blood group and diagnosis of the patient can determine the development of such complications during plasmapheresis procedure.

To investigate Gegen Qinlian Decoction (GQD) combined with metformin for treatment of patients with Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). ⋯ GQD combined with metformin can significantly reduce FBG, 2h glucose and HbA1c levels, and improve TCM syndrome, with good clinical efficacy, shorter blood glucose time in range and less adverse reactions.
