This updated systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to assess maternal and fetal outcomes of pregnancies based on the Institute of Medicine (IOM) guidelines of gestational weight gain (GWG). ⋯ Within the limitations of this review, GWG was found to be a predictable risk factor for adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes of twin pregnancies.

To explore the diagnostic value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) combined with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for cervical abnormal lymph nodes. ⋯ CEUS combined with MRI can significantly facilitate the differential diagnosis between HLNs, LNTB, and MLNs. The two diagnosis methods combined improve the diagnosis accuracy of cervical lymph node diseases.

To investigate the correlation between GAL-3, Klotho, calcium and phosphorus indexes and cardiovascular complications in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). ⋯ A positive correlation can be seen between the levels of Ca+2, PO- 4 and cardiac function classification in patients with CKD. Klotho is a protective factor for cardiovascular diseases.

To identify improvement in knowledge and attitude of Family Medicine (FM) postgraduate trainees (PGT) towards Palliative care (PC) in order to provide effective care to the patients with advanced disease. ⋯ This PCM seems to be a useful tool for PC training in postgraduate medical education (PGME). This highlights some useful aspects for future applications in PC education and training.

To investigate the clinical efficacy of cognitive behavioral therapy combined with pinaverium bromide tablets in admitted patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). ⋯ Cognitive behavioral therapy combined with pinaverium bromide tablets is significantly effective in the treatment of patients with IBS, which can effectively relieve symptoms such as diarrhea and abdominal pain, and reduce irritable bowel reactions.
