To compare the clinical outcomes of InterTAN nail and proximal femoral nail antirotation (PFNA) internal fixation for the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures in the elderly. ⋯ InterTAN and PFNA internal fixation have their own advantages in treating patients with intertrochanteric fractures. InterTAN has better postoperative recovery results, while PFNA has less perioperative trauma. Clinically, InterTAN or PFNA should be selected based on the specific conditions of each patient to maximize the therapeutic benefit of each treatment method.

To compare the clinical efficacy of microendoscopic discectomy + fibrous ring suture versus microendoscopic discectomy alone in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation (LDH) in young and middle-aged patients. ⋯ Both of the two surgical methods are effective in the treatment of LDH in young and middle-aged patients, and microendoscopic discectomy + fibrous ring suture in particular may be preferred because it results in significant improvement in patients' VAS and ODI scores.

To investigate the clinical value of the expression levels of tumor protein D52 (TPD52) and miR-133a on the prognosis assessment of pancreatic cancer surgery. ⋯ TPD52 is expressed at a high level whereas miR-133a at a low level in pancreatic cancer tissues, both of which together with low differentiation of pancreatic cancer and III-IV stage of TNM constitute independent risk factors affecting the surgical prognosis of patients with pancreatic cancer.

To assess the cardiorenal protective effects of different doses of atorvastatin in patients with cardiorenal syndrome (CRS) Type-2. ⋯ In the treatment of patients with CRS Type-2, medium dose (20mg/day) atorvastatin can have the same therapeutic effect as the high dose (40mg/day) treatment. Medium dose has a good protective effect on the heart and kidneys of the patients, and helps to reduce inflammatory reactions and improve heart and kidney function.
